Charm, Beauty and Collaboration

Jean Jaques Rosseau, the French philosopher, said so eloquently, “Believe me judicious mother, do not make of your daughter a decent man as if to give lie to nature. Make a decent woman of her and you will be sure she will be worth more for herself and for us.”

I agree with that and ponder- what does that mean today? What does it mean to be a woman and be powerful in a feminine way, not a masculine way? In my book,  “Power, Strength & Perseverance: What women know about other women, but search for in themselves”, I spent time exploring this question and understanding that there are unique behaviorual skills for women to enhance power- charm, beauty, and collaboration.  I would love to hear your thoughts.
