Feminine or Feminist?

Marilyn Monroe and Gloria Steinem are contemporaries- close in age to each. Feminine or feminist? Both beautiful and powerful -in different ways. To me, Marilyn Monroe’s power was through her vulnerability and feminine charm. Gloria Steinem’s power was through her beauty, passion and articulated message. Where is the dividing line between feminine power and feminist power? How much of each are relevant today?

These are some of the preliminary questions that prompted me to write my new book, “Power, Strength & Perseverance: What women know about other women, but search for in themselves”. I would love to hear your thoughts.
